What our customers say about us
"Leaving my two border collies in the care of Honeybottom Kennels when I travel abroad gives me such peace of mind that they are being safely and well looked after. What's more, I know they are happy there too as they enthusiastically greet the staff and settle in easily."

Jane Cocking

"Raffie and Lettie my two mini wire-haired dacshunds ages 5 and 12 have been regular vistors at Honeybottom Kennels for the last five years. They positively skip in! They clearly love and are loved by all the staff and nothing is ever too much trouble."

Sarah Moorland

"I used to worry when I left Saffi at Kennels. Now I worry that when I take her to Honeybottom Kennels she can't wait to greet the staff and never gives me a backward glance! It's such a relief to know I can leave her with a clear conscience and that the staff are so caring. I also know (because it has happened) that I can take her to a show the day after she has been at Honeybottom for a couple of weeks and she is physically and mentally in the top condition needed to win the CC at a big championship show."

Angela Cavill

"Charlie (a spaniel) loves his visits to Honeybottom Kennels and is always excited to go. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We always have him groomed before coming home and he looks great."

Kennel Cough

Kennel Cough is a highly contagious disease which makes dogs very uncomfortable and sometimes seriously ill. You can protect your own dog and others by ensuring your pet is vaccinated. All dogs coming to Honeybottom at any time of year will need to be vaccinated for kennel cough as a condition of acceptance. The new vaccine on the market is much improved and reduces the risk of the virus. It is still not 100% guaranteed to prevent infection but, after consulting our vets, we are making it a requirement for boarding. If your dog becomes infected with kennel cough, please remember that prompt treatment with benylin and keeping him/her away from other dogs is the only way to ensure the condition clears up quickly, with least distress to your pet.
