Gavin and Sara are very "hands on" in the running of the kennels and simply love dogs!

They also breed champion PBGVs (see www.soletraderpbgvs.com).

My name is Emma, I have worked at the kennels for over two years now. When I first started I didn't know all that much about dogs, I just loved animals and wanted to work with them, but Gavin and Sara have taught me so much. I now own two dogs: Tugg, an American bulldog, (big wuss and very lazy) and Esta, a flat-coated retriever (completely nuts!). I love working in the kennels and know most of the dogs who come in, regulars or not. You'll see me working come rain or shine but I do much prefer the warmer weather, as do the dogs!

My name is Gemma, I'm 22 years old and work here as a full time dog groomer. I have been working at Honeybottom Kennels for around three years. I also went to College for three years on an Animal Care & Management course. Gavin taught me from scratch how to groom so i can thank him for my skills! I have always loved dogs and enjoy spending time with them. I can really say I love my work! I have two dogs of my own, both are miniature schnauzers, their names are Sweepy and Barney. Miniature schnauzers are my favourite dogs not only to trim but as a breed, they are so affectionate and loyal!

My name is Alida (Ali), I'm 19, I've lived in Shippon for two years now and I'm currently in my second year of animal behaviour and welfare at Oxford Brookes. I have had dogs all my life and I currently have a 13 year old Jack Russell terrier called Twiggy, two gerbils and lots of fish. I hope to carry on working with animals for a very long time because it's the best kind of job I could ever have! 

Hello, my name is Fiona; I am 17 and have been working at the kennels for about two years. I work holidays, and when it gets really busy, in between studying for my A-levels. I love dogs!

My name is Delilah Alder (Deli). I am 18 years old and have just completed a two year course in Animal Care and Management. I have always had dogs, I currently own two bitches: Brandy, a West Highland Terrier, and Whiskey, a small cross breed. Since I was little I have known that I wanted to work with animals, and after two years working at the Kennels I still thoroughly enjoy my job!
